REQUIRES a 2004-'08 GM LS Thermostat (i.e. #6367 160 degree, or # 6368 180 degree). Make sure the small air bleed port (located at the tab in the gasket) on the thermostat is facing upward. If necessary, the small tab can be cut off the gasket and thermostat rotated to move this air bleed to the top (this will allow any trapped air to escape). This will only be necessary when the swivel is moved a significant amount vs. the stock water neck.
