Depending on the size needed, the V-band clamps are designed to accommodate 4″ through 5″ sized tubing found on most blower or turbo applications. Also, it’s an extremely useful connector for race applications. First, the clamp can be quickly removed and easily re-installed. There are no hoses to “stretch” over the tubing or throttle body. The use of a V-band clamp can eliminate wasted time between rounds.
